Mentos and Diet Coke!

Our Science Guy, Kris, stopped by tonight with a special lesson on the physical reactions that take place when a Mentos mint is placed into a 2-Liter of Diet Coke. (Here's a hint, it's AWESOME!)

I hopped onto the Roof of the Teen Center, and let the bottle drop to the skate park below. The results were intense! One shot back up into the air, above my head! It soared at least 30 feet up.

The kids patiently wait for the bottles to be prepared.
